the hoarfrost hat is inspired by our first experience with hoarfrost in Iqaluit. The design recreates the shapes of the ice crystals formed from hoarfrost, while the colours reflect the arctic winter hues we see.

the hat pattern is knitted from bottom-up, in the round and features stranded colour-work.
